Matt Meier, Executive Vice President & Chief Digital and Data Officer

Matt Meier joined Driven Brands in October 2021 as EVP and Chief Digital and Data Officer. Meier oversees the company’s digital and data strategies, working closely with IT and marketing to transform data into actionable business insights and lead the digital customer experience.

Meier brings more than 25 years of experience across a variety of industries and disciplines within the IT, digital, and data domains. Meier most recently spent five years with Whirlpool Corporation, expanding their offerings to include industry-leading IoT “connected” appliance experiences, expanding direct-to-consumer digital platforms, and leading Whirlpool’s global data and advanced analytics competency. Meier previously served as Chief Information Officer for Whirlpool North America, a $12B business and Whirlpool’s largest business segment.  Prior to Whirpool, Meier served as Global Chief Information Officer at the Crosby Group and held technology leadership roles of increasing responsibility for Dana Corporation, Rolls Royce, General Motors, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Meier has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue, an MS in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
