Tim Austin joined Driven Brands in 2024 as President of Take 5 Car Wash. Following the sale of Take 5 Car Wash, he became Chief Operating Officer of Take 5.
Austin joined Driven Brands from the retail healthcare company, Lucid Hearing, where he was President and Chief Operating Officer. In that role, he helped grow the company to more than 500 locations, operating in 5 countries. Prior to his time at Lucid, Austin held several executive level roles at Sears Holdings, including as Senior Vice President of Retail Services, where he led total store operations for more than 900 locations.
Austin built his career at Walmart, where he advanced through multiple field operations roles and executive positions including Regional Vice President for the Southwest, Plains, and California regions.
He has a BA/BS degree from Beckley College and has taken Executives courses at the Duke University Fuqua School of Business and the University of Virginia Darden School of Business
